Terms of sale

Last updated: 01-11-2026

1. Who we are

SiteHelm is sold by SiteHelm Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17542122, 1 Uppacott Cottages, Tawstock, Devon EX31 3LA. Email [email protected].

2. What you're buying

A licence to use SiteHelm PRO for the period you pay for, on the number of seats you buy. A seat is one named person. The licence covers the Windows app, and SiteHelm in your browser and the phone app once they're released. SiteHelm Free stays free and isn't covered by these terms.

3. Prices

Regular prices are per year: £199 for 1 seat, £299 for 3 seats and £599 for 10 seats. More than 10 seats: price on request. SiteHelm Limited isn't VAT registered yet, so no VAT is charged. Once it registers, VAT at the standard rate is added to these prices. The prices themselves don't change.

The first 100 people to claim one get a free 1-year licence for 1 seat. After that year they pay the founding price, £99 a year, if they carry on.

The first 500 paid licences get the founding price: half the regular price on any plan (£99 for 1 seat, £149 for 3 seats, £299 for 10 seats). A 3 or 10-seat licence takes one of the 500 places.

No price rises, ever. The price you first pay (before any VAT) is locked for life for as long as you use SiteHelm PRO with the same email address. That stays true after a pause of any length: come back whenever you like at the same price. If you ever change the number of seats, the rate you came on at still applies: if you started at half price, your new plan is half its regular price too. To change plans, email us and we'll set it up at your rate.

4. No automatic renewal

Your licence ends at the end of the year you paid for. We never take another payment unless you buy again. When it ends, nothing is deleted: your files still open, and SiteHelm's free tools keep working. Everything else becomes read-only until you renew.

5. 28-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with SiteHelm PRO within 28 days of paying, email [email protected] and we'll refund you in full, with no questions asked. This applies to every payment and is on top of your legal rights. We refund to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of you asking.

6. Referral offer

The referral offer opens once the 100 free licences have been claimed. Each SiteHelm PRO licence holder gets their own referral link and code. While the 500 half-price licences last, someone you refer pays the half price, locked for life (£100 off the full price for one seat: £99 instead of £199), with no referral discount on top. After that, someone you refer gets £50 off their first payment for SiteHelm PRO, if they're a new customer; their licence keeps the full price before the discount as its locked price, so the £50 comes off their first year only. Once their 28-day money-back period has passed and they haven't asked for a refund, £50 is added to your referral account. Nothing is paid before then: if they cancel and get their money back within the 28 days, the £50 is cancelled. You can withdraw it whenever you like: we email you to arrange payment by bank transfer. Referring yourself, or someone who already has a licence, doesn't earn a reward. There's no limit on how many people you refer, and the offer has no end date. If we ever change the amounts, referrals made before the change keep the amounts they were made at.

7. Your data

Your jobs and files stay on your own devices and in your own cloud storage. See the privacy notice.

8. Using SiteHelm sensibly

SiteHelm's RAMS, COSHH and CDM templates are a starting point. A competent person must check them for each job. You stay responsible for safety on your site.

Calculators, U-values, weather, rates and anything Claude or SiteHelm works out for you are for guidance. Check them before you rely on them, and use the design, the engineer and building control for anything structural. SiteHelm doesn't give legal, tax, structural or professional advice.

Keep your own backups. SiteHelm saves to your devices and your cloud storage, so keeping a copy is in your hands.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses: SiteHelm PRO is sold for your own use, and if you use it for a business we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, business, contracts or opportunity.

If you're buying for a business, our total liability to you in any year is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or data.

We work to keep SiteHelm running well, but we don't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. The app works on your computer without our website, and your files never depend on us.

10. Changes, and if we stop trading

We may update the software and these terms. We'll email you before a change that affects what you've paid for. You can stop using SiteHelm PRO at any time.

If SiteHelm Limited ever stops trading, you keep the software. We'll release a final update that switches off the licence check, so everyone with a licence can keep using the version they have, for good. Your files are yours either way.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
